Puskas primed to make progress

Puskas Akademy will make their home debut in European competition a week after drawing 1-1 with Inter Turku in Finland.

The Hungarian outfit can be well pleased with the result – and the performance – with reports suggesting they dominated the first half and came back strongly to equalise after the hosts grabbed the opener.

Zsolt Hornyák’s side should be stronger for the rematch with former Lazio and Aston Villa striker Libor Kozák able to return and Croatian marksman Jakov Puljić fit to start.

Inter Turku have recorded some dismal away results recently with only six points taken from the last 24 available to them on their travels in Finnish football.

Jose Riveiro’s men have come through a tough spell in June where injuries meant they were operating with a very small squad and that will – at some point – take it’s toll.

The price on a home win looks decent value given all that and we are definitely siding with the hosts to progress without the need for extra time or penalties.
