Real Madrid to Win and Over 2.5 Match Goals

Reason for tip

Real Madrid, who have won eight of their 13 cup matches his season and never lost in 12 previous Club World Cup outings, have scored at least twice in four of their last seven outings, while six of their ten games in 2023 have contained at least three goals. Al Hilal meanwhile have conceded at least twice in three of their last nine, with four of those games containing in excess of two strikes

4/6odds when tipped

Real Madrid 3-1

Reason for tip

Real Madrid have conceded exactly once in four of their last nine outings, while scoring three or more twice during that run. They face an Al Hilal side who have kept one clean sheet in nine and have scored exactly once in three of their last seven

Real Madrid vs Al Hilal Riyadh Predictions

  • Real Madrid have never lost a game at the Club World Cup
  • Al-Hilal have conceded at least two goals in three of their last nine outings
  • Real Madrid have netted two or more in four of their last seven outings

Real looking to make more history

With a record-breaking four FIFA Club World Cup titles already in their trophy cabinet, few would back against Real Madrid adding another crown after their 4-1 hammering of Al Ahly in the semi-finals.

That was the fourth time in seven games that Los Blancos have scored at least twice, with three of those fixtures won by at least a two goal cushion.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side, who have never lost in this competition, registering ten wins in a dozen outings, are also on a run of eight wins and three draws from 13 cup matches this season.

Will Al-Hilal spring another shock?

It’s always hard to judge how big the gap in ability between two sides from different continents is, but Al-Hilal’s defence does provide some worries ahead of this clash.

The Saudi Arabian outfit, whose players were gifted a staggering bonus of over $260,000 each by billionaire fan Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, have only kept two clean sheets in their last nine outings.

Three of those fixtures have seen them conceded at least twice, including in the semi-final, when they edged past Brazilian team Flamengo 3-2.

You would expect Real to have a much better attacking unit than all of their previous opposition, so I predict the Spaniards to win with three or more goals in the game, selecting 3-1 as a correct score prediction.
