Inter Milan to Win

Reason for tip

Inter Milan can build on last season’s run to the Champions League final after a blistering start domestically. The visitors have won all four games this term and they’ve blown away Fiorentina and AC Milan in their last two, so back the visitors to come away with the points.

Inter Milan 2-0

Reason for tip

No team kept more clean sheets than Inter in last season’s Champions League, with their eight shutouts the most they’ve ever recorded in a single campaign. After conceding just once so far this term, back Inter for another win to nil.

Marcus Thuram To Score Anytime

Reason for tip

Thuram scored a stunner for Inter against Milan at the weekend and the striker looks like a brilliant addition for the Nerazzurri having scored in each of his last two games, notching in three of his last four for club and country.

Real Sociedad vs Inter Milan Predictions

  • Inter Milan have won all four of their games this term
  • They’ve beaten AC Milan 5-1 and Fiorentina 4-0 in their last two
  • Thuram has scored in three of his last four games for club and country

Runners-up in winning mood

Inter Milan have started this season in incredible form after losing last season’s Champions League final. The Nerazurri fixed their league form in 2023 and went on to lift the Coppa Italia alongside their European run and they’ve hit another level to start the new campaign.

While Inter have lost significant players up front, they have won four from four ahead of their return to European action. The Nerazzurri thumped AC Milan 5-1 at the weekend off the back of a 4-0 defeat of Fiorentina ahead of the international break. After stringing those two results together, Simone Inzaghi’s side have laid down a marker for this trip to Spain.

Sociedad to fall short

The hosts don’t have the greatest record in this competition and it’s unlikely to improve this week. Having won their first two Champions League games in September 2003, Sociedad are now winless in their last 12 in the competition, losing eight.

Sociedad were beaten 2-1 by Real Madrid at the weekend and they have won just once in five matches this term. With Inter in incredible scoring form, the visitors should prove too strong for the returning hosts.

Inter’s summer move for Marcus Thuram already looks like a great one, with the French striker scoring in his last two games. Having found the net during the international break, he’s now scored in three of his last four for club and country and the forward can add to that on Wednesday.
