Both Teams To Score

Reason for tip

Rotherham are struggling for clean sheets under new manager Matt Taylor, managing just one in eight games and seeing both teams score in three of their last four. Both teams have also netted in three of Norwich’s last four away fixtures, while their only clean sheet in eight came at QPR in midweek

Draw 1-1

Reason for tip

Rotherham have already had two 1-1 draws at home this season, with seven of their 18 league matches ending all square. Norwich on the other hand have drawn two of their last four on the road, including a 1-1 stalemate at Reading

Rotherham vs Norwich Predictions

  • Rotherham’s last three home games have seen both teams score
  • Both teams have netted in three of Norwich’s last four matches on the road
  • 10 of the last 11 meetings between these two sides have seen both teams score

Can Rotherham arrest the slump?

The post-Paul Warne era hasn’t gone too well for Rotherham so far, and they come into this game after a run of four matches without a win, three of which have ended in defeat.

The defence is the big problem under new boss Matty Taylor, with both teams scoring in three of their last four games and his side keeping only one clean sheet in eight outings.

They conceded three against Burnley in midweek, while the Millers, who have lost just twice in nine Championship home fixtures, have seen both teams score in three successive games at the New York Stadium.

Norwich need some form

It’s been a pretty wretched run for Norwich too, who have tumbled away from the automatic promotion spots thanks to a run of one win in eight, keeping just one clean sheet in the process.

That shut-out came during a 0-0 draw against QPR in midweek, with both teams scoring in five of those eight fixtures.

Dean Smith’s side are particularly struggling on the road, picking up two wins and two draws from their last four outings, of which three have seen both teams score.

I predict that both teams will score in this game, but the two teams might cancel each other out, with 1-1 my correct score prediction.
