Sevilla vs Juventus Predictions
- Sevilla have only failed to score in one of their last 13 home games
- Juventus have scored in five consecutive games
- Juve have just one clean sheet in their last six away from home
- Sevilla have won all three of their home games since dropping into the Europa League
Sevilla and Juventus in the balance
Sevilla and Juventus meet for the second leg of their Europa League semi-final tie on Thursday on level pegging after a 1-1 draw in Italy.
Serial winners Sevilla have the advantage of being at home, but Juve will feel confident they can get the result they need having fought back to draw level after conceding first in the first leg.
Both sides capable of scoring
There is some appeal in a Sevilla win, but both teams to score looks the best option for our main bet after a 1-1 draw in Italy.
Sevilla have only failed to score in one of their 13 home games across all competitions since the World Cup.
Juve are generally good for a goal on their travels, particularly in Europe. Like their hosts, the Bianconeri were in the Champions League group stages and they scored in two of their three trips in that competition, hitting four goals in total, and they have scored in all three of their away games since dropping down into this competition.
Sevilla may have the edge
The fact this tie is taking place at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan gives Sevilla a big advantage as they have a perfect home record in the Europa League this term, with three wins in as many games.
Juve also tend to struggle away from home and they have three defeats and just one win in their last six trips across all competitions.
A 3-1 win for the Spanish side is the correct score prediction as they have scored eight goals across their last three home European games, and Juve may be liable to conceding a late goal if they are a goal down and chasing the game.
Youssef En Nesyri hit Sevilla’s goal in the first leg and he has enjoyed this competition this term with four goals in seven games. The Moroccan should come into this game fresh after remaining on the bench in the La Liga win over Valladolid at the weekend and as such he looks a good contender for an anytime goal.
