Strasbourg not firing on all cylinders

Strasbourg were one of the surprise packages last season but they have found it tough this time around. It took them until matchday ten to clinch their first win as they beat Angers 3-2 last time out and they now welcome Lille to Stade de la Meinau. They are yet to hit the back of the net more than once on home soil this campaign but they have at least scored in four of their five league games in front of their home fans.

The visitors have lost both of their last two away matches but were able to get on the scoresheet in both of those and they’ll be eyeing up this encounter as an opportunity to get back to winning ways on the road. They’re scoring an average of nearly two goals per away game but are also conceding an average of over a goal per match.

Goals at both ends seems likely

Both of these two sides have looked a bit shaky defensively, however, they both have a habit of at least grabbing a goal and with that in mind, we want to back both teams to score in this one.
