      Monaco to Win

      Reason for tip

Monaco have won five of their last seven games and should be able to add to that tally against a Toulouse side who were beaten 4-1 in the Coupe de France semi-finals in midweek to make it four losses on the bounce.

      Monaco 2-1

      Reason for tip

Both teams have scored in five of Monaco’s last six games and a repeat of that looks likely in this clash, the visitors are fancied to secure a 2-1 victory to keep themselves in the race for a Champions League spot.

      Toulouse vs Monaco Predictions

      • Monaco have won five of their last seven games
      • Toulouse have lost four on the spin
      • Both teams have seen over 2.5 goals land in five of their last six games

Monaco still in the Champions League race

Monaco are still in the thick of the race for a Champions League spot but they need to start winning consistently if they are to secure a top-three finish.

Sebastien Pocognoli’s men are currently seventh but they are only four points behind Lyon in third so are not out of the race by any means.

However the number of contenders means that the Red and Whites need to have a strong finish to the season if they are to pick off those around them.

They have a very solid opportunity to do so however as they take on mid-table Toulouse, who have lost three on the spin in the league and were dumped out of the Coupe de France by Lens in midweek.

      Hosts could suffer more misery

They were beaten 4-1 in that semi-final and it may kill any end of season momentum that the hosts have. This has been a fairly happy hunting ground in recent years for Monaco, who have won three of their last four visits to the Stadium de Toulouse, and they look solid candidates to add to that tally. The away side have won five of their last seven and should be too strong.

Both teams have scored in five of Monaco’s last six and correct score backers should side with a 2-1 victory for Pocognoli’s men.
