Take Trofense’s resurgent form with a pinch of salt

After a run of three scoreless games (D1, L2), Trofense have recovered in fine style to win each of their three following league games to this point. However, those wins were all against sides placed beneath them in the table.

Here, Trofense welcome a different proposition altogether in the form of promotion-chasing Feirense, a side they have failed to even score against across the last 400 minutes of regulation play in league H2Hs.

Feirense should bounce back

After squandering a half-time lead for the first time this season in a 2-1 defeat last time out, Feirense manager Rui Ferreira will hope to get his promotion-chasing side back to winning ways here as they look to avoid getting sucked into a congested mid-table scrap.

Since losing their opening two competitive games of the season, Feirense have not registered back-to-back defeats and as such, they will be on the lookout to justify their pre-match favouritism here and in turn strengthen their respectable run of six unbeaten away games from their last eight trips (W5, D1, L2).
