Will Keane a big loss for The Latics

Wigan’s recent slump has coincided with the loss of their top scorer Will Keane. Keane has missed the last three matches with a hamstring injury and is doubtful for Saturday’s game. Wigan have failed to win any of those games without Keane. January recruit Josh Magennis hasn’t hit the ground running and is yet to open his Latics account. The lack of goals lately has had an impact on Wigan. They have failed to win any of their last four matches and have only found the net once in this period. The home side seem a bit short in this one.

It will take a miracle for Charlton to reach the play-offs 

A win on Saturday and the gap between Charlton and the top six could be 11 points come 5pm. Even the most optimistic of Addicks fans must be resigned to another season in League One. Charlton hadn’t lost any of their four league games prior to their midweek defeat at Bolton and they will need to go on an extended run to have any chance of making the play-offs.

New man Scott Fraser bagged an assist at Bolton and is expected to be afforded a starting berth on Saturday. Charlton definitely have enough weapons to keep the hosts honest and seem marginally overpriced despite enduring a difficult time of things on their travels this campaign. I will chance Charlton in the draw no bet market on Saturday, available at around the 9/4 mark, a price big enough to warrant chancing the visitors. In the correct score market, I will predict a 2-1 Addicks win.
