Norwich vs Fulham Predictions, Betting Tips and Match Previews

This has the makings of a really good game between two of the division’s highest scoring sides. Norwich are fresh from hitting 7 past Reading last weekend and will be confident of backing that up with another win against a Fulham side whose recent form has been a bit patchy.

There would have been an element of mixed feeling amongst the Norwich faithful as their side hit six 1st Half goals against promotion chasing Reading. The performance itself was clearly impressive but it also made you wonder just how they’d only won 1 of their previous 9 and aren’t at least battling strongly for a top six finish.

The Canaries are 9 points off the play-offs with only 5 games to go and will see any slim remaining promotion hopes extinguished if they fail to win this. Their home record though does remain strong and they’ve won 65% of their home league games this term. Their average of 2.15 points per home game is the 4th best in the division.

Norwich have scored an excellent 2.40 goals per game at home now and they have plenty of dangermen. One of the stars last weekend was Alex Pritchard who netted a brace to move onto 5 goals for the season from only 14 starts. He is showing signs of really finding his feet now after a tough couple of years and backing Pritchard to score anytime at 5/2 looks good here.

Fulham are only 2 points off the top six and there is no doubting they play some excellent football at times. Consistency is a bit of an issue though and they’ve failed to follow up any of their last five victories with another win which is perhaps a good sign for Norwich, given Fulham did win last time out. The Londoners do have the 3rd best away record in the league which helps explain why Norwich are only slight favourites for this match, despite their big win against the Royals.

However, Fulham did concede 4 goals in their most recent away game at Derby and have only kept one clean sheet in their last nine outings, which is a bit of a concern against a free-scoring Norwich side. Therefore, the value here looks to be found by backing Norwich 0.0 Asian Handicap at 1.725.
