Can Norwich keep going?

Norwich will hope that they’re over their sticky period after two wins in their last three matches, but the form at Carrow Road needs some work.

Dean Smith’s side have won just one of their last five at home, keeping only one clean sheet, which came from a 0-0 draw with QPR.

There have been three or more goals in both their recent wins, as there have been in five of their last eight outings and seven of the last 11 at home, including a 3-2 loss to Preston.

The Carrick effect

Michael Carrick has had a terrific impact since taking charge at the Riverside Stadium, guiding his side to back-to-back away wins over Hull (3-1) and Blackpool (3-0).

That means three of Middlesbrough’s last four games have contained in excess of two goals, as have 70% of their 10 away games this season.

Indeed, Boro have already scored 16 times on the road this season – the second most in the Championship – while they head to Carrow Road on the back of three wins in four on their travels.

I predict that there will be three or more goals in this game, and I think Middlesbrough could take the win, with 2-1 my correct score prediction.
