Under 2.5 goals looks the bet when Valencia host Getafe at the Mestalla on Saturday. Five of Valencia’s last seven Primera Liga games and each of Getafe’s last three have gone under 2.5 goals, and 24 of Getafe’s 34 matches this season have seen fewer than three goals.

The last four meetings between these two sides have all finished with fewer than three goals and no team has had fewer matches with over 2.5 goals in the division than Getafe.

Getafe’s 1-0 defeat away to Rayo Vallecano last time out kept up their run of matches with under 2.5 goals. Getafe were priced as 9/4 outsiders to win the game and it was Rayo Vallecano’s first win in four Primera Liga games.

It could be hard to separate these two sides, with the 1-1 draw looking like a decent correct-score bet. Two of Valencia’s last three games in the Primera Liga have ended in a 1-1 draw and Getafe’s last three matches have gone under 2.5 goals.
