When will the tide turn for West Brom?

The hosts have had to deal with a mixture of the occasional bit of bad luck combined with moments where they’ve been architects of their own downfall. That was very much the case in their last match against Birmingham City in the West Midlands derby where they limited the ‘Blues’ to just three attempts on goal, but ultimately still fell to their first league defeat in five matches when they conceded a second-half penalty. Now their focus turns to this match against Bournemouth at The Hawthorns. The hosts have the best defensive home record in the division and they’ll need to be at their best here.

The visitors showed their grit and determination in their last match when they came from behind to beat Bristol City 3-2 last time out and it strengthened their grip on second place and the last automatic promotion spot. We see this one being extremely tight. The best home defence welcomes the best away defence and we think chances will be few and far between. The Hawthorns has been synonymous with the unders this season and we see this one going the same way, we’ll take under 2.5 goals with a draw possibly in the offing.
