Wigan vs West Bromwich Albion Predictions

• Both teams scored in a joint league-high 83% of West Brom’s games.
• Wigan failed to keep a clean sheet in four of their last five games.

A tight encounter at the DW Stadium

After suffering a 5-1 humbling at the hands of Burnley here, Wigan must pick themselves up to go again in search of their first home league win of the season. While Wigan  have lost just once so far, the threat of relegation remains a reality and as such, they’ll look to begin on the front foot here.

On the other hand, West Bromwich Albion done well to claw their way back from a two-goal deficit at Huddersfield last time out and were arguably unlucky not to have won it after what was described as a stonewall penalty claim by many was waved away by the referee.

Steve Bruce’s Baggies are in a similar position to Wigan, having won only once along with a handful of draws (W1, D4, L1) leaving them languishing in the bottom-half of the table. Given that both teams have scored in five of their six league games this term, we think that we could very well see more of the same at the DW Stadium.
