There are a host of games from Europe’s lesser leagues across Sunday and we’ve put together this 86/1 accumulator covering some of the more obscure fixtures.

Understandably, the bigger competitions get most of the focus when it comes to both coverage and betting – and that means there is value to be found in the lower leagues.

We’ve picked out a few selections from across four countries on Sunday and they can be backed together in one 86/1 accumulator tip, or combined with other tips in our Match Predictions for your own multiple bets this weekend.

86/1 Second Tier Sunday Accumulator Tip

Spain La Liga 2

Mirandes vs Alaves

Mirandes to win

There are five games in Spain’s La Liga 2 on Saturday and the early kick off sees Mirandes entertain promotion chasers Alaves.

The visitors looked on course for automatic promotion earlier in the campaign but they have dropped down into the play-off spots, largely as a result of their poor away form.

Alaves haven’t won an away league game since October, with their two road wins since coming against lesser opposition in the Copa del Rey. Mirandes are on a five game winning run at home and look backable underdogs ahead of Sunday’s game.

Albacete vs Lugo

Albacete to win

Albacete are in the play-off spots in La Liga 2 and they can strengthen their hold on a top six spot by seeing off struggling Lugo.

The visitors have 13 defeats in 24 league games and have lost their last three, while Albacete are unbeaten in their last three games and they’ve only conceded once in that run.

The Queso Mecanico (or Clockwork Cheese if you prefer) have only lost twice at home in La Liga 2 and it is hard to see Lugo, who have eight defeats in 12 away assignments, denying them three points.

UD Ibiza vs FC Cartagena

Cartagena to win

Two out of form teams meet in the late game in La Liga 2 as rock bottom Ibiza entertain Cartagena.

The visitors’ form has tailed off over the last two months or so but Ibiza have been woeful all season and they have 16 defeats in 24 league games. Cartagena still have an outside chance of forcing their way back into the play-off picture, and they can boost their bid with a win at doomed Ibiza on Sunday.

Germany Bundesliga 2

Hamburg vs Eintracht Braunschweig

Hamburg to win

Germany’s Bundesliga 2 is often overlooked, potentially because the games tend to kick off early, but there are some big clubs in the second division at the moment and one of those fallen giants is in action on Sunday as Hamburg entertain Eintracht Braunschweig in one of three fixtures that start at 12.30pm.

This is the first batch of fixtures after the winter break so it may be best to exercise a bit of caution but it would still be a big surprise if high-flying Hamburg failed to beat Eintracht Braunschweig at home.

Hamburg won 11 of their first 17 games and have four wins in their last six competitive home games, losing just once. Braunschweig are just one point above the drop zone and have only picked up one away win, and they signed off with a six-game winless run before the winter break.

Italy Serie B

Frosinone vs Benevento

Both teams to score

There is just one game in Italy’s Serie B and pacesetters Frosinone will fancy their chances of beating relegation-threatened Benevento, but for a bit more value both teams to score appeals in this fixture.

Frosinone’s early success this season was built on a rock solid defence but they have just one clean sheet in their last four games. Benevento struggle for results on their travels but they are usually good for a goal and they have scored in seven successive away games, and they can find a way through at the Stadio Benito Stirpe.

Portugal Liga 2

Tondela vs Nacional

Tondela to win

Sunday is a busy day in Portugal’s Liga 2 with seven games, and a win for Tondela against visiting Nacional stands out.

Too many draws have been the issue for the hosts but they did pick up a victory over Farense in their last game at the Estadio Joao Cardoso and can back that up with another three points on Sunday.

Nacional have just one win in their last seven away in all competitions and they have a poor record in front of goal on their travels, scoring just seven times in eight Liga 2 trips.
