AC Milan vs FC Porto Predictions
- AC Milan have won five of their six matches at the San Siro to date this season.
- The Rossoneri have kept just one cleansheet in their last eight matches across all competitions.
- Porto have only won one of their last nine away fixtures against Italian sides.
Milan to get off the mark in Europe
AC Milan have been flying in Serie A, as they are unbeaten in the Italian top flight this season, winning 10 of their 11 matches to date.
However, things have not been going so well for the Rossoneri in the Champions League, as they are yet to pick up a point in the competition this term, losing 1-0 in Porto in their last European fixture.
Stefano Pioli will be hoping his side can now replicate their domestic form on the continent and they have certainly impressed at the San Siro of late, winning five of their six matches at the venue this season.
Cleansheets have not been as easy to come by for Milan, as they have conceded in seven of their last eight matches across all competitions.
Away form an issue for Porto
Opponents Porto will be buoyed by their victory over Milan from two weeks ago, but their form on the road has been patchy of late, as they have failed to win in four of their last seven away fixtures.
The Portuguese giants also have a poor record on Italian soil, as they have only won on one of their last 9 visits to the country.
There could be more Italian woes for Porto on Wednesday, as we are predicting Milan to secure the victory, although given the Rossoneri’s lack of cleansheets, our overall prediction is for the home win and both teams to score.
