Arminia Bielefeld vs Bayer Leverkusen Predictions
- Bayer Leverkusen ended Celtic’s unbeaten home record on Thursday.
- Bayer have won each of their last four games in all competitions.
- Leverkusen have won each of their last three away games by two or more goals.
Bayer can end another unbeaten home record
Bayer Leverkusen thrashed Celtic 4-0 in Glasgow in the Europa League on Thursday and can extend their winning streak to five games when they travel to Arminia Bielefeld on Sunday.
Bayer sit second in the standings and have lost just one of their six Bundesliga games so far (W4, D1), and that defeat came at the hands of Borussia Dortmund. Bielefeld are winless, although they have drawn four of their six games, and go into Sunday’s game in 16th place in the table.
Bielefeld have drawn all three of their home games in the league so far but Leverkusen may become the first team to deny them any points this weekend.
Bayer are unbeaten away, and have seven points from three road games in the Bundesliga. Die Werkself have won each of their last three away games by two or more goals and after ending Celtic’s unbeaten home record in midweek they can do the same to Bielefeidl at the Schüco Arena on Sunday.
As Die Arminen have only conceded one goal at home so far it may be wise to avoid the handicap markets, however tempting, here and just back Bayer to win this match outright. However, given their impressive form on their travels it could pay off to be brave in the correct score market and a 3-0 win for the visitors is the prediction for that bet.
