      Arsenal To Win To Nil

      Reason for tip

Arsenal are huge favourites against a Wigan side that were battered 6-1 at Peterborough last weekend. The Latics have drawn one and lost five of their last six matches and have lost to nil four times since the turn of the year, while Arsenal have won to nil in three of their last four games.

      Arsenal vs Wigan Predictions

      • Arsenal have won the FA Cup a record 14 times
      • Wigan have lost to nil four times since the start of 2026.

      Gunners to rout out-of-form Latics

Arsenal’s quadruple odds were clipped again last week as they beat Chelsea 4-2 on aggregate in the EFL Cup semi-finals before a comfortable 3-0 Premier League win over Sunderland.

The Gunners did falter on Thursday as they were with Brentford, but they should have more luck on Sunday as they continue their pursuit of a record-extending 15th FA Cup triumph.

A home tie against Wigan of League One means Mikel Arteta can rest and rotate players with an eye on upcoming top-flight trips to Wolves and Tottenham.

Arsenal fan Piers Morgan declared last week that the Gunners have “the best squad assembled in the history of world club football”.

The jury’s out over that hyperbolic claim, but Arteta’s second-string should still be a cut above Wigan, who were trounced 6-1 at Peterborough on Saturday and lost again in midweek.

The Latics have slipped into the relegation zone after taking just two points from their first eight league games in 2026 and it is hard to see them landing a blow on Arsenal’s defence.

The Gunners won 4-1 at Championship side Portsmouth in the third round and a 4-0 home victory looks a decent bet as Wigan have lost to nil against Cardiff, Bolton, Wycombe and Lincoln since the turn of the year.
