      Both Teams To Score

      Reason for tip

Both teams have regularly found the net. BTTS has landed in six of Barnet’s last eight League Two home games and in five of Cheltenham’s last seven away matches. Cheltenham’s recent fixtures have followed the same pattern, while Barnet have failed to keep a clean sheet in seven of their last nine meetings with Cheltenham.

      Draw 1-1

      Reason for tip

Low-scoring trends shape the correct-score angle. Six of the last eight League Two meetings between these sides have finished with under 2.5 goals, and four of Barnet’s last six matches have also stayed under that line. With goals often shared but totals kept down, a 1-1 draw appeals.

      Barnet vs Cheltenham Predictions

Visitors have a point to prove

The best bet is both teams to score in Saturday’s League Two clash between Barnet and Cheltenham at The Hive. Barnet have been in some low-scoring games of late – four of the last six have gone under 2.5 goals – but there were five goals in their 3-2 win over Oldham last month, and both teams to score has been a winning bet in four of Cheltenham’s last six league games.

Barnet are seven places above Cheltenham in the table, with the hosts 11th and the visitors 18th. Barnet have 12 wins, ten draws and eight losses, while Cheltenham have nine wins, three draws and 17 defeats from their 29 games this season.

Barnet are hard to beat, having avoided defeat in eight of their last nine League Two games and in seven of their last eight at home. Cheltenham, on the other hand, have won just one of their last seven matches.

Cheltenham will want to prove a point after losing 3-2 to MK Dons last time out in League Two, with Jake Bickerstaff and Isaac Hutchinson on the scoresheet. The game kept up their recent trend of matches with both teams scoring. Cheltenham were priced as 10/3 outsiders to win the game and suffered a narrow defeat.

Both teams to score has been a winning bet in six of Barnet’s last eight League Two home games, while both teams have found the net in five of Cheltenham’s last seven games away from home.

The two sides are struggling defensively, with Barnet failing to keep a clean sheet in seven of their last nine League Two games against Cheltenham and the visitors having conceded 51 goals this season in the league – an average of 1.76 goals conceded per game from 29 games.

It could be hard to separate these two sides, with the 1-1 draw looking a decent correct-score bet. Six of the last eight League Two meetings between these teams have had fewer than three goals, and four of Barnet’s last six games have ended with under 2.5 goals.
