Bristol City vs Norwich Predictions
- Bristol City have lost two of their last four home league games
- Norwich have won four of their last five away Championship matches.
- Bristol City could be without influential midfielder Kal Naismith for the Canaries’ visit.
Canaries on song when away from Carrow Road
The Championship’s second-best away team since the start of November, Norwich can be trusted to put a dent in Bristol City’s solid recent record when they meet at Ashton Gate on Saturday.
The Canaries have won both of their two Championship away trips since Dean Smith was relieved of his duties in late December, playing with the shackles off and scoring four goals apiece at Preston and Coventry.
David Wagner’s men could have too much firepower for a Robins side that has improved a lot under Nigel Pearson lately, but were fortunate to hold on for a win at Deepdale last weekend.
Naismith injury could be keenly felt
Bristol City are unbeaten in their last four home games against Championship opposition, but clean sheets are rare for them with only one recorded in the last six. They also seem set to face Norwich without influential midfielder Kal Naismith, who picked up a calf problem at Preston.
The Canaries will arrive on Severnside after winning four of their last five league road games with three of the teams they vanquished currently above Pearson’s side in the table.
Hence, an away win is the recommended play and a 2-1 success the best shot at landing a correct score bet here. Although Norwich have been scoring plenty, Bristol City have not conceded more than twice at home to Championship opponents since August.
