Both Teams To Score and Over 2.5 Match Goals

Reason for tip

Two in-form sides can serve up plenty of entertainment, with Leeds the highest scorers in the Championship and Coventry having netted in 10 of their last 11 games.  Three of the last four meetings between these two sides have also featured at least three goals.

Leeds 2-1

Reason for tip

Both of these teams are in form and full of goals so the net should ripple at both ends, but preference is for league leaders Leeds, who are unbeaten in 13 matches across all competitions, winning nine of those, and they can edge this one 2-1.

Coventry vs Leeds Predictions

  • Coventry have scored in 10 of their last 11 games
  • Leeds are the highest scorers in the Championship with 60 goals
  • Three of the last four meetings between these two sides have also featured at least three goals

Two in-form sides lock horns

Coventry play host to Championship leaders Leeds but the Sky Blues will head into the game full of confidence following a four-match winning run.

Frank Lampard certainly appears to be getting a tune out of his side and he is yet to lose a home match since taking charge at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

The visit of the leaders Leeds could represent the biggest challenge to that record, but Coventry have netted in 10 of their last 11 games and can, at the very least, give a good account of themselves.

Leeds storming towards promotion

Leeds are unbeaten in 13 matches across all competitions, winning nine of those and they haven’t even conceded a goal in any of their last five games.

However, four of those five clean-sheets have come on home soil at Elland Road, with the Whites having conceded three in a recent trip to Hull.

As the top scorers in the division, the Whites should have the firepower to outgun Coventry, but the Sky Blues can contribute to an entertaining game, with three of the last four meetings featuring at least three goals.
