      Como To Win To Nil

      Reason for tip

Champions League-chasing Como have won seven of their last 10 Serie A road games and with the best defensive record in the division, they should outclass relegation battlers Cremonese by securing a victory and a clean-sheet.

      Como 1-0

      Reason for tip

Como have kept four clean-sheets on the bounce and have won their last two games 1-0. Against a Cremonese side fighting for their lives, one goal could once again be enough to seal the points for Cesc Fabregas’ team.

      Cremonese vs Como Predictions

      • Cremonese have won back-to-back games to boost survival hopes
      • Como have lost only one of their last 10 Serie A away games
      • Cesc Fabregas’ team boast the best defensive record in Serie A

Plenty at stake on final day

Cremonese have won back-to-back games but safety is still not in their hands as they prepare to host Champions League-hopefuls Como on the final day of the Serie A season.

La Cremo must win and hope relegation rivals Lecce fail to beat Genoa if they are to confirm their survival on Sunday, while a draw would be enough to secure a play-off should the team in 17th place lose their final game.

Como also have plenty on the line, but they must win if they are to have any hope of gatecrashing the top four on the final day.

Vardy and co to come up short

Jamie Vardy has been the star man for Cremonese over the last few weeks, scoring in the wins over Pisa and Udinese, but Como should provide a much sterner test than either of those opponents.

Cesc Fabregas’ high-flyers have won seven and lost only one of their last 10 Serie A road fixtures, while their miserly defence, which is the best in the Italian top flight, has conceded just 28 goals in 37 matches overall.

Cremonese are among the league’s lowest scorers, and even with Vardy finding some form, they may come up short on Sunday, with a swift return to Serie B looking likely.
