Fulham vs Norwich Predictions
Norwich come into this game looking like very strong promotion candidates. They’ve won 7 of their last 8 matches and have risen to the top of the Championship as a result, so they will come into this game high on confidence and as favourites to pick up another win. They haven’t been outstanding at the back though so they look unlikely to keep a clean sheet here.
They’ve conceded 1.83 goals per game on their travels so far this term and are yet to keep a clean sheet on the road, which will offer Fulham plenty of encouragement but the Canaries have still managed to frequently outscore teams and still have 3 away wins to their name despite their troubles at the back.
Fulham come into this game after a much-needed 4-2 win at Barnsley on Saturday. They’d gone 7 matches without a win in all competitions prior to that though so confidence may still be a little fragile and they will know that Norwich will pose a bigger threat than almost all of their recent opponents. Since the opening day win over Newcastle, they’ve failed to keep a home clean sheet and both teams have scored in 58% of their matches this season overall.
With both teams having scored in 75% of Norwich’s league matches and all but one of their away games, there is strong evidence to suggest there will be goals at both ends here. However, you can’t get great value with the bookies by merely backing both teams to score in this one. Despite Fulham’s weekend win, Norwich look a side well capable of coming to Craven Cottage and winning. Given none of their last 6 Championship wins have been to nil, backing Norwich to Win & Both Teams to Score at 10/3 looks to offer excellent value here.
