      Leeds vs Bristol City Predictions

The visitors will again have John Pemberton in interim charge after the dismissal of Steve Cotterill earlier in the month. He picked up an excellent 1-0 win over Middlesbrough last weekend but saw his side eliminated from the FA Cup by West Brom in their 3rd Round replay in midweek.

That probably isn’t a huge disaster given the relegation battle they are clearly in and Bristol City remain in the bottom three on goal difference despite incredibly completing the double over league leaders Middlesbrough last weekend. The problem is that they have only won 3 of their other 25 matches this season in the league and they have lost their last 3 away from home without scoring a goal and conceding 9 times.

That will offer Leeds plenty of encouragement here although Steve Evans’ side have lost their last two matches, both away from home against Sheffield Wednesday and Ipswich. They’d been on an 8 match unbeaten run prior to that though and have turned around their home form which had been very poor for a long time.

They are 5 unbeaten at Elland Road now with wins coming against Hull, Preston and Rotherham in that period. This could be a big game for the club as a win would move them 11 points clear of the relegation zone and certainly looking upwards whereas defeat might just set the alarm bells ringing once more.

Leeds do look a much improved unit though right now and backing a home win at 11/10 against managerless Bristol City looks a good bet.

Bristol City have scored in only 1 of their last 7 away games so consider backing a relatively comfortable 2-0 Leeds victory at 8/1 here.
