QPR to capitalise

After coming from behind to beat Portsmouth 3-1 last weekend, QPR can make it two wins from two when they host newly-promoted Bolton on Saturday.

The Trotters also made a winning start in the Championship, but they won only six of their 23 away matches in League One last season.

Bolton went 2-0 up after only 25 minutes in last week’s opener, but they let Preston back into the game as the match progressed.

QPR managed to keep themselves clear of danger last season by picking off weaker sides at home. They won seven of nine home meetings with the teams that finished below them. They also claimed a home win against promoted side Birmingham, and beat a Hull team that were one of the worst-performing sides in the league, despite ultimately winning promotion.
