      Shelbourne Draw No Bet

      Reason for tip

Shelbourne are enjoying a good run of form and with striker Sean Boyd back in the side, they should possess the cutting edge needed to edge out a travel-sick Bohemians side.

      Shelbourne 1-0

      Reason for tip

Games between the Dublin rivals tend to be tight with the last four producing fewer than three goals and a repeat of Shelbourne’s 1-0 victory from earlier in the season is the preferred option.

      Shelbourne vs Bohemians Predictions

      • Shelbourne have lost only twice at home all season
      • Bohemians have won two of their last ten League of Ireland games
      • The last four league meetings have featured fewer than three goals

Super Shels proving tough to crack

Bohemians and Shelbourne are two sides travelling in opposite directions and the gap between the pair in the League of Ireland standings could be down to just one point after Friday’s encounter.

Only Dundalk have collected more points over the last five games than Shels, who are fresh from their biggest win of the season – a 4-0 win over UCD.

Sean Boyd found the back of the net in that game and the striker’s return to action could be the key to Damien Duff’s side turning draws into wins.

League-high ten stalemates have hindered Shelbourne’s progress and its worth keeping the draw on side for the visit of Bohemians.

Bohs fighting to stay in European race

Bohs ended a four-game winless run with victory over Dundalk last time out, but had to ride their luck, going in 2-1 behind at the break before a late rally secured a 3-2 victory.

That victory came at Dalymont Park and life on the road has been tough for the side that not so long ago topped the League of Ireland standings but now sits five points off a European spot.

Bohemians are winless in six away from home, while they were beaten 1-0 the last time they made the short trip to Tolka Park.

Recent meetings between the Dublin rivals have tended to be closely fought and this fixture should frank that form with a repeat of Shels’ 1-0 victory from earlier in the season preferred as a correct score prediction.
