Stockport County look set for the playoffs, as they only need one point from their final two games to rubber-stamp a place in the top six. They can still finish as high as third, which would put them in a strong position to return to Wembley after losing the EFL Trophy final earlier this month.

Stockport claimed a 3-1 win over Peterborough on Saturday as they look to hit top form ahead of the playoffs. They can build on that in Tuesday’s clash with second-bottom Port Vale, who have suffered 14 defeats from 22 away trips this season.

Vale are already relegated, and they were beaten 3-0 in the reverse fixture earlier this term. They’ve conceded 26 goals in their 11 visits to teams in the top half, losing 10 of those.

Barry scored 15 goals in 23 games for Stockport last season, before heading for unsuccessful spells with Hull and Sheffield United in the Championship. He can star at this level, and he’s backed to find the net in a high-scoring win for the Hatters.
