Valencia are the best bet to beat Girona at the Mestalla on Saturday.

Both teams have lost more games than they’ve won this season, with Girona one place above Valencia in 12th having won nine and lost 12, while the hosts are in 13th with nine wins and 14 defeats.

Girona are in a rut. They have failed to win any of their last six La Liga away games.

The visitors have been leaking goals lately, with Girona failing to keep a clean sheet in ten of their last 12 league games and going six away matches without a shutout.

Valencia may be able to edge out Girona in a close game, with a 2-1 home win the correct-score pick. Girona have been in some low-scoring games of late – four of the last six have gone under 2.5 goals – but there were five goals in their clash with Real Betis on Tuesday, when they lost 3-2.
