Yellow Submarine can sink Eibar

Villarreal may have been held to a draw by newly promoted Huesca on the opening weekend of the season but they can get back to winning ways against Eibar.

Much is expected of the Yellow Submarine this term after they achieved an impressive fifth-placed finish in La Liga in 2019-20 and added the likes of Dani Parejo and Francis Coquelin to their ranks in the summer.

And even though they shared the spoils with Huesca, they still won the shot count 15-10 and amassed 66 per cent possession at the Estadio de la Ceramica, and with ace marksman Gerard Moreno in their ranks, they should get the better of Eibar this time around.

Villarreal ran out 4-0 winners when the sides clashed in the final league game of last season and we predict another win for the Valencia-based club in a match featuring at least three goals. Eibar drew a blank last time out and a 3-0 win for Villarreal could be the best correct score prediction.
