Belgium are unbeaten in 11 matches under Domenico Tedesco and they can again avoid defeat by picking up a draw against England, who lost to Brazil 1-0 at Wembley on Saturday.

Draw 1-1

Reason for tip

With the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Bukayo Saka and Harry Kane all missing for this contest, a low-scoring game could be on the cards, so back 1-1 in the correct score betting.

England vs Belgium Predictions

  • Belgium are unbeaten in 11 games under Domenico Tedesco
  • England have scored only three goals in their last three matches
  • Four of England’s last five matches have featured under 2.5 goals

Three Lions make rocky start to 2024

England began 2024 on the back foot with a 1-0 defeat to Brazil on Saturday and they could again be frustrated when they take on Belgium in a friendly at Wembley on Tuesday.

A first international goal for 17-year-old Endrick handed Brazil the win over England on Saturday and that was the first time the Three Lions had lost at Wembley since October 2020.

The absences of Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka were clear to see in the match as England struggled to pose a threat going forwards and it could be another frustrating evening against the Belgians.

Kane and Saka will likely miss out again and Belgium could get something from this match with an experimental England team.

Goals could be at a premium at Wembley

They were held to an underwhelming 0-0 draw with Ireland on Saturday but that nonetheless extended their unbeaten streak to 11 games under Domenico Tedesco, who took charge in February last year following the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

And the good news for Tedesco is that striker Romelu Lukaku could also be in line to return for this match after missing the draw with Ireland.

England looked low on confidence last time out and a victory could again evade them with the draw the best bet when they take on Belgium.

As for a correct score, goals could be at a premium despite Lukaku’s return as England are missing key players and Kevin De Bruyne remains unavailable for the visitors.

With that in mind, 1-1 looks a decent pick at Wembley.
