Toulouse to be outclassed

Toulouse meet PSG in the French Super Cup on Wednesday night after their impressive cup victory last term. Things haven’t gone to plan for them this season, with the club sat third-bottom in Ligue 1 after winning only twice this term.

Toulouse did manage to pick up a point against PSG in a 1-1 draw back in August. They can pose problems for the French champions’ backline in this one, as they have managed one clean sheet across their last seven. With both teams scoring in their last four outings, Luis Enrique’s side are defensively shaky despite starting as heavy favourites.

The game is at the Parc des Princes, where PSG have won eight of their last nine. The hosts should secure another win, but Toulouse have proven capable of breaching the champions’ defence. Back them to get a goal, although they’ll struggle to contain Kylian Mbappe.
