Football Betting Tips
Perfect 10 Accumulator Tip
Bolton look the best bet at home to Blackpool. They are third and 21 points clear, unbeaten in eight league games and strong at home with five wins in the last seven. They are scoring regularly too. Blackpool are wobbling on the road, losing three of the last four away league matches and winless in four away.
Brentford have seven points to show from the last nine available and have the European spots in sight. The Bees held Arsenal to a 1-1 draw in their last home game and look good value to see off Brighton, who have lost their last three games without scoring.
Cambridge have been winners on four of their last five League Two away days, and while Cambridge have won six, drawn five and lost five on the road overall, they face a Newport side who have been poor at home, winning just two of their 15 games.
Norwich are worth backing at Carrow Road after a confident 3-0 win at Oxford United, where they allowed just one shot on target. They have won five of their last seven home league games and have scored two or more in six of the last eight. Birmingham concede regularly away.
Lens have won 16 of their last 20 Ligue 1 matches and have won 13 of their previous 16 games on home soil. The visitors have struggled for consistency, having failed to win any of their last five away matches.
Inter have won four of their last six Serie A games without conceding and that trend should continue this week. Lecce have only won one of their last nine in the Italian top flight and should struggle once again.
Real Madrid are in strong form and should beat Osasuna away on Saturday. They sit top of the league with 19 wins from 24 games, while Osasuna are ninth with an inconsistent record. Madrid are unbeaten in their last eight away league games and have won nine of their last ten overall.
RB Leipzig have won just one of their last four Bundesliga games and have dropped points in four of their last five home matches. They could come unstuck against a Dortmund side on a six‑game winning run in the Bundesliga and with proven ability to deliver after European games.
Motherwell are enjoying an excellent season and should be able to escape from St Mirren with the points with a minimum of fuss. Take a chance that the Well can claim a clean sheet too as St Mirren have failed to score in three of their last four home games.
Four wins in their last five league matches have helped push Braga to fifth in the Portuguese table and they should be able to boost their position further on Saturday. Vitoria Guimaraes have conceded seven goals in their last two away games against Arouca and Estoril and look vulnerable.
Mega Accumulator Tip
Both teams have scored in six of the last seven Spurs home games and also in seven of Arsenal’s last eight road trips. The last two north London derbies have seen goals at both ends too.
Seventh-placed Celta Vigo sit 11 places and ten points above Mallorca and have won three of their last four home Primera Liga games. Mallorca are winless in seven away matches, losing five of their last seven on the road, and have failed to keep a clean sheet in nine straight league fixtures.
Heidenheim have won just one of their last eight Bundesliga home games and are without a win in their last four on home turf. Stuttgart are in good form, having won five of their last seven Bundesliga matches and three of their last four away games.
Lyon are third in Ligue 1, 14 points above Strasbourg, and have won eight of their last nine matches. They are on a run of three straight away victories and have lost only one of their last seven on the road. Strasbourg are winless in three and have struggled defensively.
Albacete have shipped two or more goals in six of their eight visits to sides above them. Hosts Malaga have found the net at least twice in their last four home games, and their impressive record at their own ground has seen them score 26 times in 13 matches.
Villarreal aren’t quite as effective as they were earlier in the campaign but they remain third in La Liga and should still be too strong for struggling Valencia on Sunday. The Yellow Submarine have won just two of their last eight matches but only Real Madrid and Barcelona have been to good for them at La Ceramica this season and Valencia are nowhere near that level. Los Che moved out of the relegation zone following last week’s crucial win over second-bottom, Levante, to snap a three-game losing streak and they have won just two of their 12 La Liga away games this term.
Goals Galore Accumulator Tip
Sheffield United have scored in each of their last five Championship matches and six of their 15 home games have featured at least four goals. With 12 of United’s 32 matches going over 3.5 goals and both sides conceding heavily – Wednesday shipping a league-high 64 – goals look the standout play.
Barcelona have scored at least three goals in each of their last three Primera Liga matches and five of their 11 home games have produced over 3.5 goals. With Levante conceding a league-high 40 goals in 23 matches and involved in four-goal games in three of 12 away fixtures, goals stand out.
Over 2.5 goals has landed in each of Gil Vicente’s last five games, while they hed to an Estoril side who shipped three goals to bottom club AVS in their last game. There have been at least four goals in six of the hosts’ previous seven, while they’ve netted over two goals per game at home this term.
Albacete have shipped two or more goals in six of their eight visits to sides above them. Hosts Malaga have found the net at least twice in their last four home games, and their impressive record at their own ground has seen them score 26 times in 13 matches.
Tottenham vs Arsenal Ultimate Bet Builder Tip
Martin Zubimendi to be carded
Zubimendi has picked up seven bookings for Arsenal this term, and the midfielder has a track record of cautions in key games. He has been booked in visits to Liverpool and Chelsea this term, while the former Real Sociedad midfielder was cautioned in the Gunners’ visit to Sociedad’s bitter rivals Athletic Bilbao earlier this term. Zubimendi saw 23 La Liga cautions across his last three seasons in Spain, and he’ll match up with Spurs’ leading foul drawer, Xavi Simons.
Pape Matar Sarr to be carded
Sarr was shown 15 yellow cards across the last two Premier League campaigns. He has already been shown three bookings against Arsenal in his career, and the increased intensity that Tudor will bring suggests that Spurs’ midfield will be foul-heavy.
Conor Gallagher to have 5+ foul involvements
Gallagher’s five Premier League appearances for Tottenham have been all-action, with the former Chelsea midfielder being involved in a combined 21 fouls. He’s been at least twice in every game he has played for his new club, while he’s committed seven fouls across meetings with Man City, Man United, and Newcastle in Tottenham’s last three league outings.
Radu Dragusin to commit 2+ fouls
With Romero suspended and Tudor expected to switch to a three-at-the-back setup, Dragusin should feature on Sunday. The Romanian made just his second start of the season against Newcastle last time out, finishing that game with three fouls to his name.
Goals Galore Accumulator Tip
Chelsea have scored at least three goals in five of their last seven games and face the second-worst defence in the Premier League, with the Clarets conceding 11 times in their last five matches.
Bromley are in good form on the road, having gone unbeaten on eight of their last nine away trips in the league, with over 2.5 goals being a winning bet in 18 of Bromley’s 32 League Two games this season.
Benfica, who are unbeaten in the Primeira Liga this season, have a home game against bottom-of-the-table AVS, who have won just once all season, so it is difficult to see anything other than a home win. There have been four goals or more in 11 of AVS’s 22 matches, so back Benfica to rack up plenty of goals.
Over 2.5 goals is the play when PSG host Metz at Parc des Princes. PSG have scored in 18 of their last 20 league games and this matchup is open, with five of the last six meetings clearing the line. Metz leak 2.23 goals per game and sit miles adrift.
Premier League Accumulator Tip
Brentford have seven points to show from the last nine available and have the European spots in sight. The Bees held Arsenal to a 1-1 draw in their last home game and look good value to see off Brighton, who have lost their last three games without scoring.
Chelsea have scored at least three goals in five of their last seven games and face the second-worst defence in the Premier League, with the Clarets conceding 11 times in their last five matches.
West Ham are yet to keep a clean sheet at home this season, but the Hammers have seen both teams score in each of their last five here and the same looks likely against a Bournemouth side that have scored in 13 of their 14 away games this season, conceding in 12 of them.
Manchester City can narrow the gap between them and Premier League leaders Arsenal to just two points, so expect them to come out on top against Newcastle, even though the Magpies should be taken to find the net at the Etihad.
Bet to Net Accumulator Tip
A Morgan Rogers’ brace sealed a 2-1 win for Villa at Elland Road in November and, with eight goals and five assists this term, he remains Villa’s greatest threat.

Super Mega Accumulator Tip
Brentford have seven points to show from the last nine available and have the European spots in sight. The Bees held Arsenal to a 1-1 draw in their last home game and look good value to see off Brighton, who have lost their last three games without scoring.
Grimsby Town have only lost one of their last eight League Two away games and have been winners on three of their last four. The Gas have failed to keep a clean sheet in six of their last eight league games and the visitors can take full advantage.
Seven of Harrogate’s 12 home defeats have come by a two-goal margin, and leaders Bromley can add to that after a fine run on the road. The hosts have rallied in recent weeks, but the visitors have won eight of 10 trips to teams outside the top 10.
Falkirk should struggle here after a 3-2 loss last weekend. Hearts should be itching to bounce back from a 4-2 loss at Rangers, and a Falkirk side who struggle on the road could be on the wrong side of a big scoreline.
This is a massive game in the battle to stay in League One with the teams currently either side of the relegation line. Northampton were poor at highflying Lincoln on Tuesday but Leyton Orient have lost nine of their last 11 away league matches and have taken only one point from their last five.
A late equaliser against Wycombe gave Exeter their fourth draw in their last five games on Tuesday but they had failed to score in their previous three games and hosts Peterborough should have too much firepower for them despite losing their last two fixtures.
Spartans have sliped to second thanks to their cup commitments, but they return to league action aiming for an eighth win on the road this term. The visitors have kept only two clean sheets on their travels despite performing well, while Stranraer have scored 12 goals in 11 home matches.
A pair of promotion rivals meet at the Racecourse Ground and the away side may walk away with the points. Ipswich lost 1-0 to Wrexham in the FA Cup last Friday but are going really well in the Championship. Wrexham have failed to win at home in three consecutive league games and appear vulnerable.
RB Leipzig have won just one of their last four Bundesliga games and have dropped points in four of their last five home matches. They could come unstuck against a Dortmund side on a six‑game winning run in the Bundesliga and with proven ability to deliver after European games.
Ajax have won one of their six meetings with their fellow top-six sides, and they trail NEC Nijmege in the standings. The visitors have won at Feyenoord already this term, and they’ve won two of their last three on the road, going six away games without defeat.
Atletico Madrid have scored over 2.5 goals in three of their last five games and can be irresistible when they play on the front foot. Expect a few changes for this gamwe but they have enough quality to grab the win. Meanwhile, both teams have scored in Espanyol’s last four away matches with the visitors losing the last two.
Correct Score Double Tip
Each of the last three meetings between these sides have ended as score draws and West Ham played out a 1-1 draw in their last Premier League affair, while Bournemouth have drawn 1-1 twice in their last five fixtures.
Newcastle won the reverse league fixture 2-1, but City have the bit between their teeth and can repeat the 3-1 success they posted against the Magpies in the second leg of their recent Carabao Cup semi-final.
Bet of the Day Tip
RB Leipzig have won just one of their last four Bundesliga games and have dropped points in four of their last five home matches. They could come unstuck against a Dortmund side on a six‑game winning run in the Bundesliga and with proven ability to deliver after European games.
Both Teams to Score & Win Treble Tip
It is hard to oppose a Sporting side who have lost just one league game this season, but both teams have scored in eight of their last ten games on the road. Moreirense, who have been blowing hot and cold of late, are still capable, so go for an away win with both teams finding the net.
Manchester City can narrow the gap between them and Premier League leaders Arsenal to just two points, so expect them to come out on top against Newcastle, even though the Magpies should be taken to find the net at the Etihad.
Evening Accumulator Tip
Cagliari have only won four of their 12 home games this season and Lazio look primed to make things worse. Lazio are unbeaten in 24 of the last 25 Serie A head-to-head meetings with Cagliari and a narrow away victory looks likely.
Manchester City can narrow the gap between them and Premier League leaders Arsenal to just two points, so expect them to come out on top against Newcastle, even though the Magpies should be taken to find the net at the Etihad.
Over 2.5 goals is the play when PSG host Metz at Parc des Princes. PSG have scored in 18 of their last 20 league games and this matchup is open, with five of the last six meetings clearing the line. Metz leak 2.23 goals per game and sit miles adrift.
Four wins in their last five league matches have helped push Braga to fifth in the Portuguese table and they should be able to boost their position further on Saturday. Vitoria Guimaraes have conceded seven goals in their last two away games against Arouca and Estoril and look vulnerable.
Experts' Accumulator Tip
Henry: Liverpool cruised past Brighton 3-0 in the FA Cup last weekend and the Merseyside men had previously impressed in Premier League victories over Sunderland and Newcastle. Slot’s men appear to be finding their stride in the final third of the campaign and Liverpool rate an excellent bet to win at the City Ground.
Aaron: Fulham have lost four of their last five league games, while their three away wins have all come at bottom-five teams. Marco Silva’s side have lost all seven visits to the sides above them, while Sunderland have won seven of nine home meetings with sides outside the top six.
Joe: Rangers gave their chances of winning the Scottish Premiership a big boost with a 4-2 win over table-toppers Hearts last weekend. The hosts may have held Dundee to a 2-2 draw last time out but they are staring down the barrel of relegation and look likely to be outclassed by a Light Blues side who have scored 18 goals in their last four games.
Alex: Cremonese have failed to score in five of their last six matches on the road in Serie A, while they are winless in 11 outings. Roma are undefeated in their last five league matches on home soil and they could boost their Champions League qualification hopes with a routine win over Cremonese.
Enda: Lyon are going for a club record-equalling 14th straight victory across all competitions. They come into this game having gone more than 380 minutes without conceding and facing a Strasbourg side whose only clean sheet in nine came against minnows Avranches in the Coupe de France.
Both Teams to Score Accumulator Tip
Both teams have scored in eight of Fulham’s last 10 games and also in eight of Sunderland’s 14 home games this season.
Hibernian have scored two goals or more in 15 of their 27 Premiership games this season, while Martin O’Neill’s side have scored in 18 of their last 20 league games, so both teams to score looks the play in this encounter.
Eight of the hosts’ last ten league games and each of Rangers’ last three have seen both teams score. Both teams have netted in the last two meetings between the pair in this fixture, with both of those encounters coming this season.
Both teams have scored in six of the last seven Spurs home games and also in seven of Arsenal’s last eight road trips. The last two north London derbies have seen goals at both ends too.
Premier League Accumulator Tip
Wolves bagged a couple of goals against Arsenal on Wednesday, the tightest defence in the Premier League, and they have scored two or more goals in four of their last six meetings with Crystal Palace. However, the visitors have kept only one away clean sheet this term, and they shipped over 2.0 xG in that game.
Liverpool have won their last two matches without conceding and the Reds’ revival could continue with a victory over Nottingham Forest. The title looks to be out of reach now for the champions who are pushing to secure a top-four finish as the minimum, and they head for the Trent having lost just two of their last 19 matches, and they could be too strong for a Forest side who were in Europa League action on Thursday.
Both teams have scored in eight of Fulham’s last 10 games and also in eight of Sunderland’s 14 home games this season.
Both teams have scored in six of the last seven Spurs home games and also in seven of Arsenal’s last eight road trips. The last two north London derbies have seen goals at both ends too.
Bet to Net Accumulator Tip
Palace have scored in seven straight matches but only one of those fixtures has seen them score more than once, and goals are proving hard to come by for the Eagles who have scored two or more goals in only one of their last 13 matches. Ismaila Sarr remains a constant goal threat for Palace but it may pay to back Jorgen Strand Larsen to notch against his former side. The Norwegian striker opened his account for his new club with a brace against Burnley recently and will be fired up when facing his old pals following his January switch.
Domini Szoboszlai has been Liverpool’s standout player this term and he should backed to get on the scoresheet once more following a recent hot streak. The Hungarian midfielder has scored some stunning goals this term and his threat from free-kicks and long-range shots make him a solid anytime goalscorer candidate. Szoboszlai has bagged ten goals this season, including five in his last eight outings and he could make his mark once more on the banks of the Trent.
Kevin has scored three goals in his last seven appearances for Fulham – from only three starts. The Brazilian may have to settle for a bench role again on Sunday but tends to make an impact against tired legs.
Dominic Solanke bagged a brace against Manchester City earlier this month and looks set to start up front in a new Spurs formation under Igor Tudor.
Bet of the Day Tip
Liverpool have won their last two matches without conceding and the Reds’ revival could continue with a victory over Nottingham Forest. The title looks to be out of reach now for the champions who are pushing to secure a top-four finish as the minimum, and they head for the Trent having lost just two of their last 19 matches, and they could be too strong for a Forest side who were in Europa League action on Thursday.
Afternoon Accumulator Tip
Scoring has not been an issue for Atalanta lately. They have found the net at least twice in five of their last seven Serie A games. Napoli have been unable to keep their opponents at bay in four straight Serie A games and have failed to keep a clean sheet in six of their last eight matches.
Rennes sit sixth in Ligue 1, 17 points above 16th-placed Auxerre, and have a clear edge in overall record. Auxerre are winless in seven of their last eight league matches and have failed to score in five of their last six, which underlines the visitors’ stronger position.
Freiburg should be backed to get a win over Monchengladbach at Europa-Park Stadion on Sunday, with the hosts enjoying success in five of their last six home games in the Bundesliga, including three straight wins. Monchengladbach have not won in six league games and have tasted defeat in three of those.
Both Teams to Score & Win Treble Tip
Rangers have gone three games without a clean sheet in the top flight, but the Gers should have too much quality for their hosts. Eight of the hosts’ last ten league games and each of Rangers’ last three have seen both teams score, but the bottom side should fall short as Rangers continue their title chase.
Feyenoord have claimed back-to-back wins as they aim to strengthen their grip on second place. They host second-bottom Telstar on Sunday, and the visitors have seen BTTS land in five of their last six matches. The visitors have scored in their last five away trips, but hosts Feyenoord have won all seven home meetings with bottom-half sides.
Evening Accumulator Tip
Feyenoord have claimed back-to-back wins as they aim to strengthen their grip on second place. They host second-bottom Telstar on Sunday, and the visitors have seen BTTS land in five of their last six matches. The visitors have scored in their last five away trips, but hosts Feyenoord have won all seven home meetings with bottom-half sides.
Rio Ave have suffered five straight defeats, and four of those losses have been to nil. Porto have conceded only three goals at home in the league this term, so back the leaders to secure another routine win.
Correct Score Double Tip
Roma have scored two goals or more in their last two games against Cremonese and there should be no reply on this occasion. The visitors have failed to score in five of their last six away matches in Serie A.
Lyon have kept three consecutive clean sheets and their last three league games have gone under the goals line. Strasbourg have failed to keep a clean sheet in 12 of their last 15 matches, and with Lyon in strong form, a controlled 2-0 away win appeals.
World Cup 26 & Champions League Double Tip
Liverpool look like the best value pick, with the Reds putting their struggles behind them with an eight-game unbeaten run. The Reds have the fourth-best Expected Goals record across the first six Champions League gameweeks, while they’ve recorded back-to-back 1-0 wins over Real Madrid and Inter Milan in Europe. Arne Slot’s side have a kind double-header in January, leaving them primed for a top-eight finish. With the Premier League coasting towards a fifth Champions League berth, the Reds should be in a good position to focus on European success in the spring.
Spain have some incredibly talented individuals, Lamine Yamal being the prime example, but are strong in all areas and don’t have any particular weaknesses. They won Euro 2024 with relative ease and they should be too good for their continental rivals at the World Cup. They also look a level above South American heavyweights Argentina and Brazil, suggesting they will be the team to beat at the World Cup this summer.
