Aberdeen vs Hearts Predictions
After an emphatic start to the Scottish Premiership Aberdeen seemed to hit a massive roadblock, relinquishing their lead in the Scottish Premiership in the process.
Their eight match winning streak at the start of the season made way for a disappointing streak of five losses and one draw in six matches in all competitions.
This saw Celtic take their usual spot back at the top of the table, but Aberdeen have fired up again in recent weeks to start closing the gap down.
They have won three and drawn one of their last four league matches, and the gap between them and Celtic has been slashed to four points. The Scottish Champions do still have a game in hand though.
Hearts aren’t doing badly either. They walked to the Scottish Championship title last season and have been incredibly impressive in the top flight so far.
They sit in 3rd position in the table with 31 points from their opening 16 games, just four fewer than Aberdeen and with a game in hand on them.
Hearts did endure a difficult spell of three losses on the bounce, but they got over that well and have since lost just once in their last ten games in all competitions.
If you just look at the Scottish Premiership, they are unbeaten in eight games, winning four and drawing four.
These two sides met at Hearts back at the end of September, with Aberdeen coming away with a 3-1 win to make it one win, two draws, and two losses in their last five games against Hearts.
Hearts have found the net in four of their last five away games, whilst Aberdeen have scored in all of their home matches and conceded in five of their last seven. This makes odds of 5/6 for Both Teams to Score look quite attractive, and I’m also going for a 2-1 Aberdeen win at 15/2.
