      Reason for tip

      Bodo Glimt 3-1

      Reason for tip

Bodo/Glimt have won four Champions League home games on the bounce, scoring three goals in each of those, and they can repeat that trick on Tuesday, but they are liable to concede against an NEC side that were only outscored by PSV Eindhoven in last season’s Eredivisie.

Bodo Glimt vs NEC Nijmegen Predictions

      • Bodo/Glimt have won seven of their last nine matches in Europe
      • The Norwegians have scored a minimum of three goals in six of their last seven games
      • NEC’s last four matches have featured three goals or more

      Goals guaranteed with Glimt involved

Bodo/Glimt already have one foot in the league phase of the Champions League after claiming a 3-1 win in last week’s first leg in the Netherlands, but that does not mean the Norwegians will take their foot off the gas.

After reaching the round of 16 last season, Glimt have now won seven of their last nine Champions League games, while 12 of their 17 matches in the competition since the start of the 2025-26 season have featured a minimum of four goals.

Kjetil Knutsen’s side are also the leading scorers in this season’s Eliteserien – where they average more than two goals per game – and they have scored a minimum of three goals in six of their last seven games across all competitions.

      NEC can play their part

NEC have also been involved in entertaining games of late, with each of their last four featuring a minimum of three goals, and with a two-goal deficit to overturn in the Arctic Circle, they will have to show plenty of attacking intent.

The Dutch side had 22 shots during last week’s first leg – nearly three times more than their opponents – and only champions PSV Eindhoven outscored them in the Eredivisie last season.

Dick Schreuder’s side can certainly score on Tuesday, but Bodo have won four European games on the bounce on home soil – scoring 12 goals in the process – and they should come out on top on the night and in the tie.
