Bosnia And Herzegovina vs Iceland Predictions
- Iceland have failed to keep a clean sheet for three successive matches.
- Across their last 17 outings, Iceland have kept just three clean sheets.
- Bosnia have scored first in four of their last five outings.
Bosnia on a roll
The hosts were beaten 4-1 by Romania in their last outing but that is their only loss across their previous seven matches, winning all of their previous four at home. A fifth consecutive home victory will be seen as crucial and given they have scored the opening goal in four of their last five overall, a fast start and defensive solidity can be expected.
Iceland have regressed from the side that were the surprise package at Euro 2016 but they’ve failed to emulate those heights after disappointing displays that resulted in them failing to qualify for both Euro 2020 and the 2022 World Cup. They struggle at preventing their opponents scoring and that’s evident by the fact that across their last 17 matches, they’ve managed just three clean sheets which came against San Marino, Lithuania and Venezuela.
Iceland to struggle once again
Bosnia are rarely involved in classics and eight of their last ten games have seen the unders land. The opening goal could be key and we fancy the hosts to get it against an unreliable Iceland back line. We’ll side with a home victory here.
