Como should be backed to get a home win over Fiorentina on Saturday, with Cesc Fabregas’ side facing Paolo Vanoli’s team at Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia.

They are sixth in Serie A, 12 places and 23 points above Fiorentina, with 11 wins, eight draws and four defeats from their 23 games this season, while the visitors have won three, drawn nine and lost 12.

Defensively, there’s been a lot to like about Como this season. They have kept out their opponents in each of their last three Serie A games, and have not shipped a goal in five of their last seven at home.

Como have lost just one of their last eight Serie A games.

Como have been prolific going forward, scoring an average of over two goals a game in their matches against bottom-half sides this season. They have averaged 2.17 goals a game in their six home games against these teams.

The visiting team could do with turning things around. Fiorentina are without a win in three Serie A games and have won just one of their last six matches.

The visitors have had their share of defensive issues this season. A 1-0 win for Como looks a decent correct-score option. Nine of their last 11 Serie A games have ended with at least one of the sides failing to score, and Fiorentina have gone down by a single goal eight times in 2025-26.
