Dinamo Minsk struggle to hit their stride

Dinamo Minsk will have been hoping to capitalise on the slow starts to the season by the likes of BATE and Dinamo Brest, but unfortunately for them they find themselves embroiled in a tumultuous beginning to the campaign themselves.

They lost their opening two matches before clinching their first points of the season at home to Torpedo Zhodino, but the weekend saw them slip back to losing ways in Gorodeya. Their hosts took an early lead and then went for a backs-to-the-wall approach to close out a narrow victory against the 10 men of Dinamo Minsk.

Visitors’ away woes continue

It’s not been plain sailing for Neman Grodno either, although after finishing just six points above the relegation playoff spot last season nobody was expecting an easy ride for them. They scored just 28 goals in that campaign, and there’s little to suggest they will do any better this term.
