Uwe Rosler’s men continue to make themselves extremely hard to beat and are now unbeaten in no less than 16 league matches. Northampton, on the other hand, may have picked up lately, in terms of results at least, but they continue to concede a few too many goals and, against this shrewd Fleetwood side, might find their task too hard.

The visitors have scored in each of their last three away from home, but they face one of the most resolute defences in the league right now and could find a breakthrough hard to come by.

The hosts have conceded just three goals in their last five matches, keeping two clean sheet in their last three. They might not be scoring loads at the moment, but Uwe Rosler seems to have his men so well drilled that this doesn’t matter.

If the hosts can continue to defend strongly, then they really shouldn’t have too much trouble in securing the three points here, especially since Northampton’s rear-guard has provided very little resistance in recent times.
