      Juventus To Win To Nil

      Reason for tip

Frosinone will be desperate to get off to a good start after gaining promotion back to Serie A, but Juventus finished last season strong and their defence can hold strong in Sunday’s opener.

      Juventus 2-0

      Reason for tip

All but one of Juventus’s ten closing games to last season featured fewer than three goals, so it seems sensible to back them to secure a 2-0 success from this trip.

      Frosinone vs Juventus Predictions

      • Nine of Juventus’s last ten league games have featured fewer than three goals
      • Juve lost one of their final 12 Serie A matches last term
      • Frosinone have drawn one and lost six of their seven encounters with Juventus

      Frosinone face a rude awakening

Frosinone had an excellent second half of the season in Serie B, but this is where the business gets real and they could struggle to make much of an impression in their first game since promotion at home to Juventus.

The hosts fell to just one defeat after October 18 in the second tier and dropped just two points from their eight closing assignments, but taking on the Old Lady represents a task on a whole different level.

Frosinone have a miserable record against the Turin outfit – they have one point from their six league meetings – and that record looks unlikely to improve on Sunday.

      Juve defence can hold firm

A finish of sixth is simply not good enough for one of Italy’s biggest clubs, but Juventus did at least finish the campaign strongly, losing one of their final 12 matches.

One defeat was suffered in their final eight games on the road, and that came at Inter when they played more than half the match with ten men and were undone by a last-minute winner.

They kept four clean sheets in their final five away games, so for them to win to nil looks like the best bet here, with a 2-0 success recommended for correct-score enthusiasts as just one of their last ten league games has produced more than two goals.
