Fulham looking for key win

Fulham and West Bromwich Albion meet in a key fixture in terms of the Championship promotion battle and home advantage may prove the difference in this early kick off.

The Cottagers are in the better form of the two sides and they go into this clash on the back of three consecutive wins, having scored 10 goals and conceded just once during that period.

Albion suffered a first league loss of the season at Stoke at the beginning of the month and that proved to be the start of an inconsistent run. Since then, they’ve managed wins over Birmingham and Bristol City but also lost at Swansea and they go into this game after back-to-back away defeats.

Fulham have been strong at home all season and have won five of their last six Championship games. The West Londoners have one defeat at the hands of Reading but they were perhaps unlucky not to get anything out of that game and they managed to take Leeds to penalties in the EFL Cup, losing out in the shootout.

Fulham managed to take four points from West Brom when the two sides were in the Premier League last season and can continue their good record against the Baggies with a win on Saturday. The hosts have been in good scoring form but Albion haven’t conceded more than two goals in any of their league games this season so a 2-0 win for Fulham is the correct score selection.
