We use stars to rate our confidence in our tips, with 3 being most confident to 1 being the least.
Draw 1-1 @ 6/1

Reason For Fulham vs West Bromwich Albion Predictions

  • West Brom have only lost one of their last four Premier League games.
  • Fulham are winless in the Premier League this season.
  • Each of the last four meetings between these teams has ended in a draw, with three of them being 1-1.

Early relegation six-pointer at Craven Cottage

Two of the pre-season favourites for relegation face off at Craven Cottage on Monday, and it has to be said that it has all the feeling of a relegation six pointer despite the early stage of the campaign.

Fulham and West Brom both remain without a league win so far this season, with the Cottagers lying rock bottom of the ladder with just a single point while the Baggies linger just outside the relegation zone having recently shown signs of improvement.

Fulham have also shown signs of improvement, but it’s still not been enough to stem the flow of defeats. They shipped ten goals in their opening three games this season and have conceded only four in the three games since then. However, they have lost two of these games and their failure to beat either Sheffield United or Crystal Palace will be a massive concern.

Baggies improvement offers glimmer of hope

West Brom lost their opening two matches by three goal margins, but then shocked the division as they went 3-0 up in the first half against Chelsea. The ensuing Blues comeback will have left a sour taste in the Baggies’ mouths, but it did mark the start of their improvements.

They have now picked up points in three of their last four Premier League games, including each of their last two outings against Burnley and Brighton. They may remain winless, but the Baggies are at least picking up points now.

To add to that, West Brom are unbeaten against Fulham in each of their last four meetings, so backing a West Brom double chance looks excellent value here.

We are expecting both sides’ winless runs to continue, however. Each of the last four meetings between the sides has ended all square, and with three of them being 1-1 stalemates that’s our choice for a correct score prediction.

Fulham injuries and team news

Fulham will be without Aboubakar Kamara after his red card against Crystal Palace last weekend, while Kenny Tete, Terence Kongolo and Josh Onomah are all still sidelined.

Harrison Reed is expected to return to the midfield, while Joachim Andersen could also make a return from injury.

West Brom injuries and team news

Sam Field and Hal Robson-Kanu are both still ruled out for West Brom, while Dara O’Shea faces a late fitness test to decide whether he’s fit to play.

Apart from that there are no new developments at the Hawthorns and Slaven Bilic could name an unchanged starting lineup, with Karlan Grant leading the line after his equaliser last weekend.
