Torino’s woes to continue

Genoa should be backed to beat Torino at home in Serie A on Sunday. Daniele De Rossi’s side take on Marco Baroni’s outfit at Stadio Luigi Ferraris and can get the win.

Torino are one place above Genoa in the table, but both teams have lost more games than they’ve won this season. The hosts are 15th with five wins and 11 losses, while Torino are 14th with seven wins and 12 defeats.

It would be no surprise to see Genoa score, having found the net at least twice in four of their last six Serie A games.

The visitors could do with turning things around, having won just one of their last seven Serie A matches. Torino have not tasted victory in any of their last three away games.

No team has shipped more goals in Serie A this season than the 44 goals Torino have conceded, and they have failed to keep a clean sheet in seven of their last nine league games. They are on a run of three away days without recording a shutout.

A narrow 1-0 win for Genoa looks the most likely outcome in the correct-score market. The last Serie A head-to-head between these sides produced three goals, but six of the previous seven had fewer than three goals, and four of Genoa’s five wins this season were by a single goal.
