- John Smiths Stadium
- Coventry have lost 13 of their 22 away matches in the Championship this term
- Huddersfield have scored twice in two of their last three matches
- Both teams have scored in 12 of Huddersfield’s 22 home games
Terriers can secure Championship survival with win
Huddersfield require only two points from their remaining two Championship matches this season to guarantee survival and they can take three from their match with Coventry City this week.
The Terriers have been on the end of some spankings recently, losing 7-0 to Norwich and 5-2 to Blackburn since the start of April, but their return of 47 goals scored in 44 matches is one of the best tallies in the bottom half.
Given they can ensure safety with a win and Coventry, who are just above them, have nothing to play for, they should get the bulk of the opportunities at the John Smith’s Stadium.
Coventry have also been a much better side on home soil this season with only four of their 13 league wins coming on the road and that enhances appeal about backing a win for hosts Huddersfield.
In terms of a correct score, Huddersfield’s defence is porous so we expect them to concede and predict a 2-1 win.
