Juve can secure their spot in the semi-finals

Frosinone pulled off a shock 4-0 win over Napoli in the last 16 of the Coppa Italia but they will have their work cut out repeating the feat against Juventus in the quarter-finals.

That was a remarkable result for Frosinone back in December but they have since lost three games on the spin in Serie A against Juventus, Lazio and Monza.

Juve won the last meeting between the sides 2-1 last month and that was part of a 15-game unbeaten run, which they continued with a 2-1 win over Salernitana on Sunday.

Having no European football to distract them from domestic duties appears to be a blessing in disguise for the Old Lady, who should be confident of progressing to the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia.

Expect some resistance from Frosinone

That said, they are unlikely to come away from this tie with Frosinone completely unscathed.

Frosinone are looking over their shoulder at the relegation spots in Serie A but they have still been one of the division’s most enterprising teams going forwards, bagging 25 goals in 19 matches.

They have scored in each of their last five matches, including in the aforementioned 2-1 loss to Juventus, and they can again get on the scoresheet in defeat with 3-1 to the hosts a decent correct score pick.
