Two first half goals settled the scoreline last week, as Galatasaray’s 12^th minute opener was cancelled out by Lazio’s Milinkovic-Savic nine minutes later. This can’t be considered a poor result for either side, and considering Lazio’s home record in Europe this season they will be confident of progressing in the competitions.

However, Galatasaray will be well aware of their hosts’ poor form at the moment and will also fancy their chances. The Turks will be going all out for the Europa League as well now that they seem to be out of the running for the Turkish Super Liga title. They are 14 points off the top spot now that Besiktas and Fenerbahce have run away with the league.
