Poor form to scupper Europe dreams for Marseille

Marseille require victory and results to go their way in order to qualify for the Europa Conference League, but the Olympians may fail at their task when they visit Le Havre on Sunday.

The hosts have lost three of their last four matches at the Stade Oceane and are currently three points above the relegation play-off spot, although they have a far superior goal difference to 16th-placed Metz.

On paper, this would be a favourable task for Marseille however their record away from the Stade Velodrome makes for troubling reading, winning just one of their last 12 on the road and picking up just 11 away points in Ligue 1.

Neither side look in great shape going into this final day encounter and therefore a tight affair should be expected. Both Le Havre and Marseille have the ability and quality to grab a goal and so a 1-1 draw looks a tempting prospect in the match result market.
