Luton should be backed to get the victory when they host Doncaster on Saturday.

Seventh-placed Doncaster are four places above Luton in 11th, with a four-point gap between them, but the hosts have played one game fewer. Doncaster have won five, drawn one and lost three of their nine games this season, while Luton have four wins and four defeats.

Doncaster’s recent League One results have been a mixed bag, with three wins and three defeats in their last six outings. They beat leaders Bradford 3-1, but also suffered a heavy 3-0 loss to Wigan and played Tottenham in the League Cup on Wednesday which means this is a short turnaround from the 3-0 loss in north London.

Luton have won two of their four league games this season by a 1-0 scoreline, and a narrow victory at home looks the most likely outcome in the correct-score betting.
