      Tip Reasoning

Mansfield will be fairly content with their seasons work so far as they are sitting comfortably inside the top half and within striking distance of a play-off place. Not much was expected of the Stags this year, they were not among the favourites for the division and were never likely to struggle, so with a quarter of the season played, their report card would be a better read than expected. Key to their success is a mean defence and the Stags have conceded just 11 times in their 12 games, a record that is only bettered by runaway leaders Plymouth Argyle.

Wycombe have had an interesting year so far, as despite success when they have enjoyed home comforts they have struggled on the road. The Chairboys have managed just a single point on the road in their six trips away from Adams Park this season. Things have started to show signs of improvement however and in their last two away days they only fell to 1-0 defeats, this indicates a tightening in defence and is a key indicator of where we are going to place our tip.

Given that Mansfield have one of the best defensive records in the divison and their hosts have the worst away record in League Two it is clear that we fancy another home win. We have seen a few danger signs from a Wycombe side that have shown signs of improvements in recent weeks so are going to stay away from tipping a result and instead back there to be under 2.5 goals. This bet is available at 8/13 with bet365 and we feel it represents the best chance of a return.
