Neman Grodno vs Rukh Brest Predictions
- Neman Grodno are unbeaten in six home league games, winning four of them.
- All four of these victories have seen them keep a clean sheet.
- Rukh Brest have seen an average of 0.86 goals per game in the top flight so far.
- The visitors have only scored one goal away from home this season.
Hosts look to bounce back
Neman Grodno fell to an unsurprising defeat away to Belarusian heavyweights BATE last weekend, bringing them crashing back down to earth after their fantastic win over Energetik-BGU the week before.
This leaves the hosts in a disappointing 14th position, although at this early stage in the season there is still very little to choose between the majority of the table. Victory on Saturday could shoot Neman Grodno as high as 6th, and victory is very much on the cards.
Newcomers struggle to find the net
They face a Rukh Brest side playing in their first ever Belarus Premier League season and, while it’s been an impressive start for them, it’s clear they are struggling in some areas.
The newly promoted visitors have scored just three goals in their seven games and have seen a grand total of six goals so far. They have managed two wins and sit in a respectable 11th place, but their lack of goalscoring ability is likely to come back to haunt them.
Neman Grodno on the hunt for three points
Neman Grodno aren’t in the best of form right now, but it’s hard to see them losing this one. They have won two and drawn one of their three home games this season, including their 3-0 thrashing of Energetik a couple of weeks back.
In fact, losing back to last season they are now unbeaten in six home league games and have conceded just two goals – not a good sign for a Rukh Brest side that have only scored once away from home in the top flight.
Four of Neman Grodno’s last six home matches have ended in victory so, given Rukh Brest’s struggles going forward and winning games, backing Neman Grodno draw no bet is attractive.
All of the hosts’ last four wins at home have been to nil, and Rukh Brest’s Premier League games have averaged 0.86 goals per game this season. Both of the visitors’ defeats have been by 1-0 scorelines, so we’re backing another here.
