PSG entertain Lille in the late Ligue 1 kick off on Saturday and they should be able to claim maximum points, but they may not have it all their own way.

Back PSG to win and concede

PSG have seven wins in their last eight games but have found clean sheets hard to come by as they have conceded in each of their last four games – shipping five goals in total, including a goal against third tier side Orleans in the cup.

Lille have four defeats in their last five meetings with PSG but they have scored in all of those games, and they have only failed to score in one of their last nine across all competitions so should be expected to grab a consolation effort.

After a 4-1 defeat at Lorient back in August, Lille have only suffered two away defeats and both of those were 2-1 losses. PSG have scored exactly two goals in three of their last five home games so a 2-1 win for the hosts is the correct score prediction.

Kylian Mbappe is the obvious anytime scorer pick but Marco Asensio may be the better option here given their respective prices. Asensio has three goals and three assists in his last five games (four starts) and the Spaniard can add to his account when Lille visit.
