Roma vs Atalanta Predictions

• Roma have failed to score in just one of their last 19 matches
• The Wolves are undefeated in their last nine home league games
• Six of Atalanta’s last eight away Serie A outings have featured fewer than three goals

Wolves are strong proposition at home

Roma enjoy a four-point advantage over Atalanta in the Serie A standings and they should strengthen that position when the teams meet at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday.

The Wolves have collected just one point from their last five games on the road, but it has been a different story at their Eternal City base, where they are unbeaten in their last nine outings.

They will also take a great deal of confidence from the fact they have shut out their opponents in three of their last four home appointments, including last week’s 3-0 victory over bottom-of-the-table Pisa, and that spells problems for their opponents, who would love to boost their chances of European qualification.

Lack of away goals a concern for visitors

Atalanta claimed a 3-0 win at Lecce the last time they were on their league travels, but they have found goals difficult to come by on their travels, netting just 19 times in 17 road assignments.

Lazio are the only team in the top half of the table to have scored fewer away goals and it does not bode well that they have scored more than once in just one of their last six games.

That run includes 6-1 and 4-1 humblings against Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich in the Champions League, and this could be another game where they may struggle.
